Help please from fellow whoer's

Dear fellow whoer's.

some of you may remember that my son, a fellow hammer, was critically ill over the summer.

I shall be banging the marathon drum next year as I am raising money for Birmingham Children's Hospital when i run it next year.

As a warm up I am running a half marathon in Birmingham in a couple of weeks.

A lot of you were so kind and sent messages and offered to buy me a beer at the next game etc...I read him every message that you all posted.

Could I please ask you to donate half a pint on my page below and buy me the other half at the game...!

He has made a full recovery and although has to have medicine every day for life we were lucky enough to have him walk out of there after a little over 2 months and he has gone straight back into school. So it is happy endings all round. For those that are interested in what happened i have put the thread link below.

Dear ladies and gents.

Today was the day and after spending all day in bed I yesterday, I got up early popped some neurofen and went for it.

Pleased to say I completed it and in a time of just under 1 hr 40 mins. Which was what I'd hoped for so I'm really happy.

Thanks to everyone for your support and messages and sponsorship.

I shall let you know how my training is going for the marathon...!

Gents I'm pleased to say I've hit my target that I gave myself and my family haven't had the email yet so I really hope to smash it now.

I've been hitting training hard even though I only had 2 and a bit weeks notice.

Hoping to do it in around one hour 45 mins.

Thanks to everyone that is supporting me I can't tell you how much I, my family and the future kids of BCH and their parents are for your kind generosity.
